GenAI can be a useful tool to aid your writing process, but you can't always take what it says at face value! Always fact check it with your own readings.

While GenAI can be beneficial, your prompting determines how useful it will be. Here are some tips to help you prompt AI better.

GenAI can be used well before you actually start writing - to aid in your source selection process! There are tools that can help you find and summarise sources. But remember, GenAI can't replace your own close reading of sources... it can just help to streamline the process before you start!

If used in the right ways, AI tools can help you to draw similarities between papers. However, it is important to be specific with your prompts and remember that AI tools are only there to assist you! Good writers will spend time engaging with the readings themselves.
